Tillamook County Culinary and Agritourism Studio highlights:
- Fifty local tourism stakeholders and residents participated in a two-day workshop February 13-14, 2017. Workshop topics included Local Asset Identification, Culinary and Agritourism Market Development, Statewide and Regional Resources and Destination Building. - The Tillamook County community received a $5,000 Tourism Studio Matching Grant from Travel Oregon to develop the North Coast Food Trail in 2017. As of April 2019, the North Coast Food Trail includes 74 businesses from Lincoln City to Cannon Beach.
- Travel Oregon published the Explore the North Coast Food Trail trip idea in April 2018 on traveloregon.com to highlight the local assets and opportunities that were discussed during the workshops.
Studio Outcomes & Success Stories:
- The North Coast Food Trail continues to receive accolades, winning Best Foodie Road Trip Editor’s Choice Travel Award from Sunset Magazine in August 2019. Review the article in Sunset Magazine online here.
